The good old days :)

Just was going through my blog and looked at my other posts and suddenly a nostalgic feel has crept into me, i miss all my friends who made my life so joyful, everyday was a new day :) was like the beginning of time, and i am sure i am gonna cherish those memories through out my life ....... all my friends out there who have been there with my through all my happiness and sorrows, thanks a lot for bearing with me :) and i wish u all a very bright future ahead :).....

eagerly waiting to meet ya all someday or the other and talk abt the crazy things we did :) 

20 million-year-old fossil sea cow discovered in Palawan

The sea cow, otherwise known as ‘serenia’, existed 20 million years ago and was discovered within the walls of the Philippines’ Puerto Pricesa Underground River!

The fossils, when discovered, were in near-perfect conditions as you can see by the photo. Something odd found during this discovery was that the sea cow was native to areas in the Mediterranean, Europe, and Africa which makes this fossil even more mysterious!

Scientists are currently researching the river area to see if there are any more remnants from the Miocene Age, where the sea cow was found.

HELL

After like reading for half an hour about HEL, the daughter of LOKI, the goddess that presides over HELL, the thing that i found out is that HELL word has been originated from the HEL, and even the phrase "go to hell" becoz according to the norse mythology, sinners or the dead would been sent to the goddess HEL.

And the parallel version as according to wikipedia, it says that the parallel version of HEL in Indian mythology can be said to be KALI, DURGA .....

seriously mythology was always interesting, gives me goosebumps all the time :) 

REPRISE : a few lines on Life (or rather how we feel....about life)

deep inside,
rush through the veins,
feelings high,
meth cant do better,

the versions of truth,
embodied with lies,

we have so much to achieve, so far to go, but the questions of how, when, why, what always play with us, life just laughs back at us...always a new way of saying "i (life) was just screwing with ya" ..... hope u've been there, hope u have wondered, but thats just the way it was, it is and is gonna be, so live life like you have never lived before but do the things that make you feel happy and proud (in your own version of your own story :P)

HUGIN AND MUNIN, my version of these birds :P

Huginn ok Muninn fliúga hverian dag

The whole world wide, every day,
fly Hugin and Munin;
I worry lest Hugin should fall in flight,

Every morning the two ravens Huginn and Muninn, are loosed and fly over Midgard; I always fear that Thought may not wing his way home, but my fear for Memory is greater.

Well, that was ODIN- the great God of the NORSE,

just give it a thought !! if it was not only odin and u could have a crow or two who could wander around our MIDGARD (LIFE ) ...... and get us thoughts and memories from others ???

ask yourself what would u think of the first thing ? where would u want them to be or where would you want them to go ?? 

question urself .... what would u want them to hear ? and from whom ? 

i am pretty sure, who ever is reading this would have thought of someone close to them, someone they are close to or someone they want to be close to..... its a general thing, every human would want that, i am not saying no.....

its just a thought , question urself the above and think upon ur answers and see how you feel, u'll know what matters most to you, what u really expect out of life, what you really want from someone, what you want in your life !!!! 

this might be selfish but wasn't ODIN selfish too, when a god can be selfish to know about the things happening around him (dont go into the particulars :P just a thought ) so why shouldnt we take some time for ourselves ..... and think.....

so what if we are selfish for a little while !! so what we think and want things from this life, who knows we will have another chance or not ..... 

the bottom line is, THE ANSWERS ARE ALWAYS WITH US, according to me the two birds HUGIN would be our thoughts and MUNIN would be our memories, always with us, always a step away, only we dont spare much time realising it, its right out there but we dont spend a moment to think.......

P.S : dont get too damn selfish :P

its been really hard working with the projects, managing studies and maintaining a blog but i have finally got a chance to be here again and it feels so great :) :)
